Redhaven × bulk pollen of cross of Reliance × Biscoe (NCA001, NCA002, and NCA003); tested as NC-C3-68. USPP 12,375; 29 Jan. 2002. Tree: flower non-showy, self-fertile, very cold-hardy; flowers with Redhaven; chilling requirement 950 h; leaf glands reniform; high bud set; reliable producer; highly resistant to bacterial spot. Fruit: size acceptable for early season peach, averaging 6.35 cm; commercially acceptable suture, pubescence, skin color, flesh color, and firmness; flavor and quality is excellent; firmness acceptable for local markets; ripens 1 July, between Redhaven and Norman.
