Origin: in Kaysville, Utah, by Sumner Gleason. Introd. in 1907. Parentage unknown; discovered in 1900. Tree: Fruit: flesh yellow, quality very high, freestone; matures 10 days before Elberta, which it resembles; flavor much better than that of Elberta; excellent for canning and freezing.
