Cultivation

Origin: in Merced, Calif., by T.B. Stribling, Stribling's Nurseries. Introd. in 1960. Seedling of 5-50-29 (Gold Dust o.p.); selected in 1956. Tree: vigorous, sturdy; leaf glands reniform; flowers pink, large, showy. For home orchard. Fruit: resembles Gold Dust, ripening 10 days earlier; fruit too small for commercial purposes.
