Origin: in Le Grand, Calif., by F.W. Anderson. lntrod. in 1953. Plant patent 1249; 2 Feb. 1954; assigned to Reedley Nursery, Reedley, Calif. (Kim × July Elberta peach) F2; tested as Anderson 6Kl0. Tree: large, spreading; medium vigor; productive; leaf glands globose; flowers large. Fruit: size medium; skin yellow overspread with red, appearance attractive; flesh yellow, firm, freestone; ripens between John Rivers and Gower; resembles Sun Grand.
