Tree: dwarf, average height of 6-8 ft, the first dwarf nectarine to be named and introduced; very ornamental; vigor medium; spreading; productive, leaf glands reniform; flowers large, self-fruitful, anthers red. Fruit: large, averaging 2 1/2 inch in diam.; globose to slightly oblate, symmetrical; skin yellow, partially mottled orange-red, thickness and texture medium; flesh yellow, red next to the pit, flavor subacid to mild, soft, ripens evenly, eating quality fair to good, freestone; shipping quality medium to poor; keeping quality medium.
