Yellow-fleshed, melting, semi-freestone nectarine. Origin: Universities of Bologna and Milan, Italy, by D. Bassi. Spring Red × Big Top; tested as BO 96028195; introd. 2010. Tree: regular; medium vigor; very productive; flowers showy, self-fertile; medium chilling requirement; leaf glands reniform. Fruit: large, 200 g; slightly elongated; bright red blush covering 90–100%yellow ground color, very little russeting, no cracking; flesh yellow with some anthocyanins; very firm, slow-melting (as Big Top nectarine); hangs well; semi-freestone, red near pit; very good flavor (low-acid type), aromatic; ripens second half of July, 12 d after Redhaven in Bologna.
