Origin: in Moses Coulee, Douglas County, Wash., by Pete Van Well, Wenatchee, Wash. Plant patent 4370; 23 Jan. 1979; licensed to Stark Bros. Nurseries, Louisiana, Mo. Introd. in 1980. Whole tree mutation of Fay Elberta. Tree: compact, similar to Com-Pact Redhaven: many lateral shoots on first year's growth. Fruit: identical to Fay Elberta.
