Hale; susceptible to brown rot; flower size medium, nonshowy, self-fruitful; leaf glands reniform; chilling requirement 950 h. Fruit: large; ovate; skin predominantly red over yellow, dull, pubescence medium; flesh yellow, quality good, melting, firm, freestone; ripens with or just before Elberta; popular for local market in New Jersey; canning quality only fair.
