Origin: in Toppenish, Wash., by Morris A. Thomson. Plant patent 2180; 9 Oct. 1962; assigned to California Packing Corp., San Francisco. J.H. Hale × Halehaven. Tree: vigor medium; productive; leaf glands reniform; flower large, showy, light pink to white, self-fertile. Fruit: large; oblate to round, base end flattened, apex slightly depressed; skin yellow with red blush; flesh yellow, freestone; ripens 1 1/2 weeks before Halehaven, 3 1/2 weeks before J.H. Hale; good for canning.
