Leaf-blades oblong or elliptic-oblong, 4–14 cm. long, 2–6 cm. wide, acute to shortly acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, glabrous above, adpressed pubescent on the main nerves beneath and sometimes also between them, thin; domatia absent; nodules few to many, scattered throughout the lamina; petiole slender, 0.5–3 cm. long, shortly pubescent; stipules ovate-triangular, 6–8 mm. long, divided into 2 lobes at the apex 3–5 mm. long, pubescent and with hairy margins, deciduous..
