Psychotria daphnoides A.Cunn. ex Hook.

A shrub. It grows 3-5 m tall. The trunk is crooked. The bark is brown and slightly rough. The leaves are simple, opposite and entire. They are broadly sword shaped and 1-8 cm long. They are green on both surfaces but more pale underneath. The flowers are white and in clusters. They are near the end of the branches. The fruit are berries about 8 mm across. They are light green or white and let light through. They have fine ribs along them.

It is a tropical plant. It grows in drier rainforest locations. It grows between 500-700 m above sea level.
