Flowers heterostylous, 5-merous, in broad lax much-branched panicles 14–25 cm. long; peduncle 2–12.5 cm. long, glabrous; branches 0.5–9 cm. long, glabrous or shortly pubescent; pedicels up to 0.5 mm. long or obsolete; lower bracts 3.5–8 mm. long, clasping the stem or sometimes forming an involucre at point of initial branching, rest and bracteoles minute.. Calyx-tube obconic, 0.5 mm. long; limb cupuliform, 0.4–0.5 mm. long, glabrous; lobes triangular, 0.3–0.5 mm. long.. Drupes red with 2 pyrenes, ellipsoid, ± 4.5–6 mm. long, 3.5–4 mm. wide, or subglobose, 4–5 mm. in diameter, strongly grooved when dry; pyrenes pale brown, semi-ellipsoid, 3.5–5.5 mm. long, 3.5–4 mm. wide, 2–2.2 mm. thick, with dorsal face 5-grooved..
