Leaf-blades narrowly oblong-elliptic or oblanceolate, 5–15 cm. long, 1.5–4 cm. wide, acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, glabrous above, puberulous or glabrescent on the midrib and main nerves beneath; nodules numerous, dispersed throughout the lamina; petiole 0.5–2.5 cm. long, puberulous; stipules puberulous, with 2 acuminate lobes; base ovate-triangular, 2–4 mm. long; lobes linear, 3–4 mm. long.. Flowers heterostylous, 5-merous, in panicles, the branches with flowers densely and sometimes subumbellately congested, 2–4 cm. long; peduncles 1–2 cm. long, ferruginous puberulous; secondary branches 0.3–1 cm. long; pedicels 1–1.5 mm. long, glabrous to puberulous; bracts small, ferruginous pubescent.. Calyx-tube ovoid, 1 mm. tall, ferruginous puberulous; limb cupuliform, 0.6 mm. tall, glabrous or puberulous, the lobes very short or up to 0.3 mm. long.. Corolla white; tube 6.5 mm. long, minutely puberulous outside, glabrous inside; lobes ovate, 3.5 mm. long, 1.5–1.8 mm. wide.. Stamens with filaments 2.75 mm. long in short-styled flowers, 0.7 mm. long in long-styled flowers..
