Leaf-blades elliptic or oblong-elliptic, 3–16 cm. long, 1.1–7.5 cm. wide, shortly acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, glabrous, thin; nodules absent, domatia present; petiole 0.4–3.5 cm. long, glabrous; stipules ovate, 4–7 mm. long, acute, bifid or emarginate at the apex (entire fide Petit), glabrous or ferruginous-puberulous and ciliate, deciduous.. Panicles with (2–)3 principal branches; peduncle very short or obsolete, 2–3 mm. long, or up to 2.5 cm. long; branches 1.5–4 cm. long, glabrous or sparsely ferruginous pubescent; pedicels very short but up to 7 mm. long in fruit; bracts and bracteoles minute.. Calyx-tube conical or globose, 1–1.5 mm. long; limb broadly cupuliform, 0.5–1.5 mm. high, truncate or with minute lobes, ± glabrous.. Open corolla not known; buds white, glabrous.. Drupes with 2 pyrenes, didymously subglobose, ± 6–9 mm. in diameter, glabrous; pyrenes semi-globose, 6.5–7 mm. in diameter, 4 mm. thick, rugulose; ventral face plane, dorsal face entire..
