An attractive, early midseason dessert variety introduced in Republic of South Africa in 1993. Bon Rouge (a red sport of Bartlett) × Forelle; released by Infruitec. Origin: Tree: vigorous; productive; tendency to produce a few thorny shoots; moderate chilling requirement. Packhams Triumph and December are suitable pollinizers. Fruit: size medium-small, 150 g; oblong-ovate; skin light yellow with distinctive red blush and conspicuous lenticels; flesh creamy white, soft texture, good flavor. Harvest maturity early February in the Western Cape.
