Robust, erect, much-branched suffrutex, up to 1 m high. Leaves simple, subopposite to opposite, lanceolate to elliptic, penninerved, sometimes involute when young. Inflorescences single-or rarely 2-or 3-flowered, sometimes pedunculate. Flowers large, yellow; pedicels very long; bracts foliaceous. Flowering time Sept.-Apr. Pod obliquely lanceolate, compressed.
Erect shrublet to 90 cm. Leaves unifoliolate, subopposite to opposite on flowering branches, lanceolate to elliptic. Flowers solitary, sometimes 3, large, keel rostrate, calyx lobes longer than tube, upper lobes broader, falcate. Pods obliquely lanceolate.
