Characteristics

Erect, robust, much-branched woody shrub up to 1.5 m high. Leaves elliptic; leaves on flowering branches 9-16 mm wide; basal leaves 41-60 x 14-24 mm. Inflorescences 5-12(-19)-flowered. Calyx lobes triangular, as long as the tube. Wings with the apex obliquely obtuse. Keel mostly with a broad basal pocket. Pistil short-stipitate.
