Characteristics

Glab. succulent herb with creeping stems rooting at the nodes. Petioles 2-10 cm. long; lamina cordate-reniform in outline, 8-25 mm. diam. or more; 3-lobed to 3-partite; segs narrow-to broad-cuneate, irregularly toothed. Peduncles stout < lvs; fls 6-9 mm. diam. Sepals 4-5, ovate, obtuse, membr.; petals 4-5, yellow, obovate-spathulate; gland 1 a little below middle. Fruiting heads globose, 7-9 mm. diam.; achenes turgid, broad-ovate in outline; style short, straight.
