Leaves not lobed or otherwise divided, lanceolate to broadly ovate or even reniform, apex rounded, obtuse, acute, or acuminate, base cordate, truncate, to slightly and broadly cuneate, margin dentate to nearly entire.. Flowers single at the nodes, pedicels 1–8.5 cm. long, glabrous or adpressed hirsute.. Sepals spreading, glabrous.. Petals 4 to 7 mm. long, yellow.. Achenes more or less fusiform, smooth.
