Tangled or trailing shrublet with numerous short, often secund branchlets. Leaves with axillary tufts, small, oblong-mucronate, sometimes slightly toothed; bracts suborbicular, ± truncate and equally 5-7-recurved-toothed above, finely hairy. Flowers 1-3 at branch tips, mauve to white, ± 8 mm diam., calyx and ovary hairy.
Shrublet, prostrate or sprawling with many short, often secund branches, 0.1-0.5 m high. Leaves ± squarrose, flat, ciliate, axillary clusters of smaller glabrous leaves present. Flowers white, solitary or in terminal heads, heads sometimes grouped. Hypanthium hairy. Flowering time Dec.-Mar.
