Young parts soft with long white hairs; leaves 1.25-1.75 by 0.25-0.3 in., linear-oblong; petioles 0-0.17 in. long; calyx 0.25 in. long or rather more, obscurely 2-lipped; segments narrow, acute, 3 connate at the base; corolla 1.25-1.5 in. long, pale mauve (Galpin); stamens 4; anthers short-oblong not spurred at the base; pollen globose, reticulate; ovary glabrous; style with 1 linear-oblong branch the other suppressed; capsule 0.5 in. long or rather more, clavate.
