Leaf-blades elliptic or oblong to narrowly oblong, 2.5–10 cm. long, 0.8–4.2 cm. wide, acuminate at the apex, cuneate at the base, glabrous save for sparsely pubescent domatia beneath, scarcely discolorous; petiole 2–7 mm. long, slightly winged; stipule-bases 2–3 mm. long, pilose inside, the appendages short, subulate, ± 1.5 mm. long.. Inflorescences 2-flowered; peduncles 4–8 mm. long; pedicels 1.5–3.5 mm. long, glabrous or sometimes sparsely pubescent; bracts ovate, 1.5–2 mm. long, acuminate.. Calyx-tube 1 mm. long, the limb ± 1 mm. long, 5-toothed.. Buds distinctly acuminate..
