Characteristics

Plants tiny, usually consisting of a single growth with thin roots. Stems unbranched, 1–15 mm long. Leaves 3–6 per stem, crowded, 15–40 × 6–10 mm, light green to yellowish, thin-textured, apex unequally notched. Racemes widened towards apex, 20–60 mm long, 4–15 flowered. Flowers cupped, c. 3 × 2 mm, green with a white labellum, labellum and column with purple spots. Sepals and petals not spreading widely. Dorsal sepal c. 2 × 1 mm. Lateral sepals c. 2.3 × 1 mm. Petals c. 2 × 0.8 mm. Labellum c. 2 × 1.5 mm, front part extended like beak; spur c. 1.5 mm long, apex widened, bearing nectar.
