Inflorescence simple; verticillasters 15 or more, spaced below, denser above, each 6-flowered. Flowers whitish, pale blue or mauve. Calyx glandular-hispid to villous, up to 12 mm long. Corolla: tube 8-12 mm long; lower lip often shorter than the upper.
