Characteristics

Tree, 3-25 m high; dbh 10-40 cm; outer bark brown to patchy grey and white, minutely tuber culate, inner bark fawn with pale pink spots; sap wood cream with black streaks; indumentum ru fous. Branchlets crispy hirsute especially when young; flowering twigs 2-4.5 mm thick. Leaves l-3(-4)-jugate; petiolule up to 7(—11) mm long.
