Characteristics

Plants 80-250 mm tall; leaves 10-30, lower 4-20 basal, semi-erect, somewhat conduplicate, very narrowly oblanceolate, acute, 30-100 x 2-9 mm, usually all the same length, upper 5-10 leaves scattered on the scape and grading into the bracts. Inflorescences dense, oblong cylindrical, 20-40 mm long; bracts as long as the ovaries. Flowers c. 3 mm in diameter, bright yellow. Sepals subequal, 2.5-3.5 mm long; median very broadly obovate to rotund, galeate; laterals obliquely narrowly ovate, subacute. Petals suboblique, broadly ovate, obtuse, 1.5-2 mm long. Lip 3-4 x 1-2 mm, disc without callus; midlobe 1 mm long; side lobes 0.3 mm long or less, porrect; spur cylindrical, obtuse, 0.3 mm long.
