Lip 3.5–5.5 × 1.5–2.5 mm; epichile 3-lobed with the central lobe subacute, c. 1.5 mm long, lateral lobes obtuse, subobsolete; disk with 3 small calli; spur 0.8–1.2 mm long, curved towards the ovary.
Leaves 6–14, scattered on the stem, generally 2–5 clustered at the base, semi-erect to deflexed, 2–5 cm long, narrowly lanceolate to linear, acute, the upper leaves grading into the floral bracts.
Inflorescences semi-dense, 2–6 cm long, 15–40-flowered, nodding; bracts about 6 mm long, slightly larger than the ovary, narrowly ovate, acuminate.
Basal sheaths usually 2, the outer hyaline, obtuse; the inner white, obtuse to acute, to 2 cm long.
Flowers c. 4 mm in diameter, butter-yellow, the petals slightly paler than the sepals.
Petals 1-nerved, oblique, 3–4 mm long, rhombic-lanceolate, acute.
Plants 8–20(30) cm tall.
Anther c. 1.5 mm long.
