Spreading perennial. Branches hirsute. Leaves semiterete, c. 10 mm long, villous. Flowers solitary. Perianth villous. Stamens 5. Fruiting perianth sparsely villous; attachment small, circular, basal, c. 1 mm diam.; tube shortly cylindrical, slightly dorsiventrally compressed, c. 2 mm high and wide, ribbed; limb erect, thin, c. 1 mm long; spines 2+1, the lateral pair divergent 2–3 mm long, the adaxial radicular spine very short, c. 0.5 mm long. Seed and radicle erect.
