Sterile stems suberect, rather stout, 6-8 cm. Flowering stems basally ascending or prostrate but apically erect, ± tufted, 5-10 cm. Leaves alternate; leaf blade narrowly oblanceolate, flat, 1-2.5 × (0.1-)0.2-0.3 cm, apex ± obtuse. Cyme usually 3-branched, corymbiform, lax, many flowered; bracts 4-10 mm. Flowers sessile, unequally 4-merous. Sepals triangular to narrowly elliptic, unequal, 0.5-1 mm, apex very obtuse. Petals yellow, suboblong to broadly lanceolate, 4-4.5 mm, apex shortly mucronate. Stamens 8, slightly shorter than or equaling petals. Nectar scales broadly spatulate, shortly clawed, apex obtuse. Carpels subdivergent, 4.5-5.5 mm, base connate for 2-2.5 mm. Styles short.
