Characteristics

Herbs annual, glabrous. Roots fibrous. Stems branched from base, erect, ± slender, 3.5-5 cm. Leaves greenish; leaf blade broadly linear to oblong, 5-6 × 0.8-1.4 mm, base obtusely spurred, apex obtuse. Cyme corymbiform, few flowered; bracts broadly linear to oblong. Flowers unequally 5-merous; pedicel 2.5-3 mm. Sepals greenish or yellowish green, suboblong-linear to ovate-linear, 2.7-3.5 × 1-1.5 mm, base spurless, apex obtuse. Petals yellow, broadly ovate, 3.3-4.8 or more × 1.4-1.8 mm, base connate for 0.2-0.3 mm, apex subobtuse and mucronate. Stamens 10; antesepalous ones 2.6-2.8 mm; antepetalous ones shorter than petals, inserted 0.8-3 mm from petal base. Nectar scales suboblong-obovate, 0.5-0.6 × 4-5 mm, apex emarginate. Carpels 2.4-2.8 mm, base connate for ca. 0.4 mm, apex tapered; ovules few to many. Follicles few seeded. Seeds mammillate. Fl. Sep, fr. Oct.
