Leaves alternate, fascicled, primary leaves 5-12 x 0.5-1 mm (but often appear narrower because of revolute margins), ratio length: breadth c. 10-24: 1, linear, apex subacute, base not narrowed, margins entire, somewhat thickened, often revolute when dry, midrib raised below, glandular-punctate, hairs up to 0.1-0.15 mm long mainly on margins and lower surface (hairs sometimes sparse or wanting on secondary leaves). Inflorescence a crowded leafy terminal corymb up to c. 80 mm in diam. Bract adnate to pedicel and calyx tube, lowermost 1.7-2.2 x 0.4-0.7 mm, blade oblong-obtuse, deeply concave, embracing calyx, strongly keeled, margins narrow,) pale, membranous, keel with a few minute hairs mainly on median line, minute hairs (c. 0.1 mm) on margins. Pedicel (lowermost) 0.25-0.6(-1) mm long. Calyx 1.2-1.8 mm long, campanulate, subequally 5-lobed, lobes c. 0.3-0.4 mm long, subacute to obtuse, minute globular glands scattered all over, usually hairs to 0.1 mm long as well, mainly on keels. Corolla tube 1.1-1.8 mm long (female flowers not uncommon, then corolla much smaller), broadly funnel-shaped, limb 2.6-3.8 mm across lateral lobes, posticous lobes 0.9-1.4 x 0.6-0.8 mm, anticous lobe 1.5-2.2 x 0.8-1 mm, all lobes oblong-elliptic, white. Stamens: posticous filaments 1.2-1.7 mm long, anticous filaments 1.5-2.2 mm, all anthers well exerted. Stigma and style 1.2-2.7 mm long, style glabrous. Ovary c. 0.3 x 0.3 mm. Cocci 1.2-1.4 x 0.7-0.8 mm, dark brown, rugulose. Flowers can possibly be found in any month.
