Bushy shrublet 150-600 mm tall, stems pubescent, hairs up 0.1-0.25 mm long, retrorse, closely leafy. Leaves alternate, fascicled, primary leaves 2-7 x 0.5-1.2 mm, ratio lengthy breadth c. 2.5-7:1. linear-oblong to narrowly elliptic, apex obtuse, base scarcely narrowed, margins entire, texture thick, venation invisible, glandular-punctate, sometimes oozing, otherwise glabrous except for a few hairs sometimes on margins at clasping base. Inflorescence a crowded leafy terminal corymb up to c. 60 mm in diam. Bract adnate to pedicel and calyx tube, lowermost 1.8-2.6 x 0.7-1.25 mm, blade elliptic, obtuse, deeply concave, embracing calyx, strongly keeled, margins broad, pale, membranous, glandular-punctate, sometimes oozing, hairs to 0.1 mm on margins. Pedicel (lowermost) 0.1-0.6(-1) mm long. Calyx 1.3-1.8(-2) mm long, campanulate, subequally 5-lobed, lobes 0.4-0.8 mm long, obtuse, minute globular glands scattered all over, few hairs to 0.1 mm on margins. Corolla tube 1.5-1.8(-2) mm long (female flowers not uncommon then much smaller), broadly funnel-shaped, limb 2.5-4.2 mm across lateral lobes, posticous lobes 0.8-1.4 x 0.6-0.8 mm, anticous lobe 1.4-2.3 x 0.7-1 mm, all lobes oblong-elliptic, white (but see comments below). Stamens: posticous filaments 1.2-1.8 mm long; anticous filaments 1.8-2.5 mm, all anthers well exerted. Stigma and style 2-3 mm long, style glabrous. Ovary c. 0.4 x 0.3 mm. Cocci 1.4-1.8 x 0.8-1 mm, brown, rugulose. Flowers have been recorded in all months except August, but the main season is probably November to May.
