Stoloniferous perennial herb, stems tufted, up to c. 200-300 mm long, c. 2-3 mm in diam., erect or decumbent (and then sometimes rooting at base), rodlike, simple or sparingly branched near base, pubescent with delicate patent acute hairs up to 0.8-1.4 mm long as well as glandular hairs c. 0.1 mm long, closely leafy. Leaves alternate, fascicled, largest primary leaves 3.5-7 x 0.5-1 mm (ratio length: breadth c. 6-8:1), linear-oblong, subacute, base scarcely narrowed, margins entire, plane, venation invisible, minutely glandular puberulous all over together with delicate acute hairs up to c. 0.4-0.7 long. Inflorescence a compact terminal leafy corymb, up to c. 45 mm in diam. Brad adnate to pedicel and calyx tube, lowermost 2.2-3.5 xl. 1-1.4 mm, elliptic, obtuse, deeply concave, embracing calyx, strongly keeled with narrow pale membranous margins, pubescent all over, acute hairs 0.25-0.7 mm long, together with much shorter stalked glands. Pedicel up to 0.3-0.5 mm long. Calyx 1.4-2 mm long, campanulate, 2 anticous lobes slightly broader than other 3 lobes, c. 0.5-0.8 mm long, all lobes obtuse, delicate acute hairs up to 0.4-0.7 mm long all over outside and margins together with minute stalked glands. Corolla tube 1.5-1.8 mm long, broadly funnel-shaped, limb 3.2-4.5 mm across lateral lobes, posticous lobes 1-1.2 x 0.8-1 mm, anticous lobe 1.25-2.3 x 0.8-1.1 mm, all lobes ± oblong, pale mauve or white. *k Stamens: posticous filaments 1.5-2 mm long, anticous filaments 2-2.8 mm long, all anthers well exerted. Stigma and style 1.8-2.6 mm long, style glabrous. Ovary c. 0.6 x 0.4 mm. Cocci c. 1.3 x 0.7 mm, brown, smooth.
