Shrublet, height unknown, virgately well branched, branches ± erect, old parts woody, bark pale, young parts pubescent, hairs up to 0.2 mm long, somewhat recurved, minute globular glands as well, closely leafy. Leaves opposite, alternate upwards, fascicled, largest primary leaves 12-24 x 1.2-2 mm, narrowly elliptic or oblanceolate, apex subacute, base narrowed then abruptly expanded and half-clasping, margins entire, slightly thickened, plane or weakly revolute, texture thin, midrib slightly raised below, invisible above, hairs less than 0.1 mm long scattered on upper surface and margins together with minute globular glands, lower surface either glabrous or with scattered hairs; axillary leaves similar. Inflorescence composed of somewhat lax racemes c. 10 mm broad, flowers c. 5-20 in each raceme, these further arranged in a small terminal pyramidal panicle c. 15-50 x 12-30 mm. Bract adnate to pedicel and calyx tube, lowermost 3.2-4 x 0.6-1 mm, oblong or oblong-lanceolate, almost plane, apex ± obtuse to subacute, hairs up to 0.1-0.2 mm long on margins, back either glabrous or with a few acute hairs on lower part. Pedicel 0-0.5 mm long. Calyx 1.2-1.5 mm long, somewhat obliquely campanulate, usually 5-lobed roughly halfway to base, occasionally 3-or 4-lobed, 2 anticous lobes broader than other 3, deltoid, subacute, other lobes narrowly deltoid or oblong, ± obtuse, hairs up to 0.15-0.2 mm long on margins, minute globular glands all over outside, otherwise glabrous or with a few small acute hairs. Corolla tube c. 3.8-4 mm long, funnel-shaped, limb c. 4 mm across lateral lobes, posticous lobes 1.1-1.8 x 0.8-0.9 mm, anticous lobe 2-2.3 x 1-1.3 mm, all lobes oblong, colour unknown but probably white. Stamens: posticous filaments 2.1-2.3 mm long, anticous filaments 2.1-2.8 mm, all anthers far exerted. Stigma and style, c. 3.8-5 mm long, style glabrous. Ovary c. 0.8 x 0.8 mm. Cocci not seen.
