Calyx 3.8-6 mm long, tubular, subequally 5-lobed, lobes much shorter than tube, deltoid, acute, minutely puberulous all over outside (hairs less than 0.1 mm), often reddish, accrescent to enclose the cocci. Corolla tube 5.5-7 mm long, narrowly funnel-shaped, limb c. 4.5-7.5 mm across lateral lobes, lobes subequal, 2-3 x 1.2-2 mm, broadly elliptic white. Stamens: posticous filaments 1.5-2 mm long, anthers in throat; anticous filaments 1.8-2.5 mm long, anthers shortly exerted. Stigma and style c. 6-7.5 mm long, style minutely puberulous.
