Leaves fascicled, opposite becoming alternate upwards, largest primary leaves 1.7-3.5 x 0.6-1.8 mm (largest axillary leaves 2-4 x 0.5-1.2 mm), narrowly deltoid to linear-lanceolate (axillary mostly linear-oblong), apex subobtuse to subacute, bluntly apiculate, base broad, margins entire, strongly revolute, texture thick (axillary leaves can be semi-circular or deltoid in transverse section), glandular punctate otherwise glabrous except sometimes a few hairs on lower margins of primary leaves. Inflorescence terminal, composed of few-flowered crowded spikes c. 5-10 x 5-8 mm, few crowded together to form a small compact + rounded corymbose panicle up to c. 30 mm in diam. Bract adnate to extreme base of calyx tube and minute pedicel when present, lowermost 1.4-2.5 x 0.5-1 mm, linear-lanceolate, subacute, concave, hairs up to 0.1-0.2 mm long confined to margins. Pedicels either wanting or minute (to c. 0.2 mm). Calyx 1.7-2.4 mm long, campanulate, subequally 5-lobed at least halfway to base, (anticous pair slightly broader than the others), lobes narrowly oblong, obtuse or subacute, strongly keeled, hairs up to 0.1-0.2 mm long on margins, shorter ones all over outside together with minute glands. Corolla tube 2-4.5 mm long, funnel-shaped, limb 3.5-5 mm across lateral lobes, posticous lobes 1.1-1.5 x 0.7-1.1 mm, andcous lobe 1.5-2.2 x 0.8-1.2 mm, all lobes oblong-elliptic, white. Stamens: posticous filaments 1.5-2.8 mm long, anticous filaments 1.8-3 mm, all anthers well exerted. Stigma and style c. 2-5 mm long, style glabrous to pubescent. Ovary c. 0.8 x 0.4 mm. Cocci c. 2 x 1 mm, brown, rugulose, inner face almost plane. Flowers can possibly be found in any month.
