Dwarf woody shrublet at least 200-300 mm tall (no basal parts seen), virgately very well branched, old stems bare, at least 4 mm in diam., young branchlets puberulous, hairs up to c. 0.1 mm long, patent, invisible glands also present, sometimes oozing strongly, closely leafy. Leaves opposite becoming alternate upwards, not fascicled, largest 2-3 x 0.2-0.3 mm, spreading to strongly recurved, acicular, apex ± obtuse, base not narrowed, decurrent, glandular-punctate, sometimes oozing strongly. Inflorescence a solitary many-flowered lax raceme c. 15-45 x 6 mm terminating innumerable leafy branchlets, not overtopped by subsidiary racemes. Bract adnate to base of calyx tube and pedicel, lowermost 2-3.5 x 0.4-0.5 mm, linear-lanceolate, ± obtuse, glandular-punctate, hairs up to 0.1-0.2 mm long on lower margins, back glabrous. Pedicels 0.2-0.4 mm long. Calyx 1.4-1.7 mm long, campanulate, 5-lobed roughly halfway to base, two anticous lobes slightly broader than other three, hairs up to 0.15-0.25 mm long on margins, c. 0.1 mm long all over outside together with minute globular glands, inside glabrous. Corolla tube 2.2-2.8 mm long, funnel-shaped, limb 3.2-5 mm across lateral lobes, posticous lobes 1.2-1.8 x 0.8 mm, anticous lobe 1.5-2 x 0.9-1 mm, all lobes oblong-elliptic, white. Stamens: posticous filaments 1.4-2.1 mm long, anticous filaments 1.6-2.5 mm, all anthers far exserted. Stigma and style c. 2.2-3.2 mm long, style glabrous. Ovary c. 0.4 x 0.3 mm. Cocci c. 1.2 x 0.8 mm (only a few young ones seen), red-brown, smooth, inner face plane, the pair of cocci held within the persistent calyx.
