Inflorescence 3.5–10(25) cm. long, elongate-paniculate of many small pedunculate heads; heads 5–10 x 5–7 mm., circular to broadly oblong, appearing secund where flowering branches are prostrate.
Scrambling or decumbent perennial woody herb or subshrub to 30 cm. tall; branches lax, erect, suberect or prostrate, densely pubescent, moderately leafy throughout.
Leaves 5–15 x 0.8–3 mm., linear, linear-lanceolate or oblong, obtuse, narrowed at base, entire, minutely hispid-pubescent, alternate to nearly opposite.
Corolla white, through pink to lavender or pale blue; tube 3–4 mm. long; lobes 1–1.2 x 0.7 mm., circular-oblong.
Capsule c. 1.5 x 1.8 mm., broadly ovoid-globose, slightly compressed, valves asymmetric, smooth.
Bracts 2–3 mm. long, oblong to obovate-oblong, obtuse, minutely hispid, ciliate at base.
Peduncles 5–15(20) mm. long, slender, densely pubescent.
