Characteristics

Succulent shrublet, up to 0.7 m tall, sparsely branched, with some stems arching and rooting at tips, 5-8 mm diam. Leaves crowded apically, terete-cylindrical, 30-70 x 2-5 mm, with dorsal window, with some wool in axils. Flowerheads solitary on sparsely bracteate peduncles up to 150 mm long, radiate, yellow, fragrant; involucre cylindrical, 10-12 mm diam., bracts 10-15, 12-15 x 2-3 mm, bracteoles 3-5, imbricate, lanceolate.
