Leaves persistent, cylindric, mostly 15-60 x 3-5 mm, glabrous with dorsal window. Flowerheads 1(-3) on terminal, sparsely bracteate peduncles up to 120 mm long, radiate, yellow, fragrant; involucre cylindrical, 7-10 mm diam., bracts 8-10(-15), 12-17 x 2-3 mm, bracteoles ± 3, subulate.
