Characteristics

Softly woody shrublet, up to 400 mm tall, branching from base, ± glabrous but sometimes thinly cobwebbed. Leaves linear-lanceolate, mostly 20-80 x 1.5-5 mm, sessile and minutely serrulate-auriculate, glabrous or thinly cobwebbed and glabrescent, margins revolute and sometimes minutely and sparsely toothed, usually with axillary tufts. Flowerheads in lax corymbs with ultimate pedicels naked or sparsely scaly and 10-40 mm long, radiate, yellow; involucre campanulate, ± 5 mm diam., bracts ± 12, 5 x 1 mm, bracteoles several, imbricate, subulate-lanceolate.

Leaves sessile, in axillary tufts, linear, up to 50 mm long, base minutely eared and toothed, margins revolute, entire or toothed.
