Characteristics

Stemless perennial, up to 600 mm tall, ± cob-webbed. Leaves basal, petiolate, narrowly oblong, mostly 60-120 mm long, regularly pinnatisect, lobes oblong and further toothed, thinly glandular or subglabrous above and ± cobwebbed beneath, thinly or densely silky-woolly in axils. Flowerheads (1-)3-8 in loose corymbs on long, sparsely leafy peduncles, radiate, yellow; involucre cylindrical, 8-10 mm diam., bracts ± 15-25, 7-12 x ± 1 mm, bracteoles 3-5, subulate.
