Leaves oblanceolate-pandurate, mostly 40-100 x 15-50 mm, sometimes narrowed to a petiole-like base, auriculate and stem-clasping, irregularly serrulate, thin-textured. Flowerheads in dense, branched, terminal corymbs, shortly radiate, yellow; involucre campanulate, 3-5 mm diam., bracts 15-20, ± 3 x 0.5 mm, bracteoles numerous, imbricate, subulate.
