Characteristics

A creeping to almost erect, laxly branched shrub, 0.1-0.3 m tall, 0.4 m across. Main stem 15 mm in diameter. Leaves erect, 45-80 mm long, 10-20 mm wide, hairless, dissected, with 1-5 tips; stalk 15-60 mm long. Flowerhead globose, 15-18 mm across, comprising a solitary headlet of 10-14 flowers; stalkless. Involucral bracts linear. Perianth silvery cream, densely covered with woolly hairs. Style 7-8 mm long, straight. Pollen presenter 2-3 mm long, linear, knee-bent at base. Flowers: September to November, mainly October.
