Characteristics

A sprawling shrub 0.2-0.3 m tall, 0.3 m across. Main stem 5 mm in diameter. Leaves with crispy hairs, 15-25 mm long, 15-25 mm wide, erect, dissected, with 8-14 tips, often strongly curved inwards; stalk 5 mm long. Flowerhead 6-10 mm long, 7-9 mm across, inconspicuous and hidden by leaves, lax, comprising 1-5 headlets of 3-8 flowers each; flowerhead stalk short. Involucral bracts absent. Perianth yellow. Style straight, 5 mm long. Pollen presenter 0.5 mm long, club-shaped, not distinct from style. Flowers: July to December, mainly September and October.
