Characteristics

A slender, erect shrub 0.3-0.5 m tall, up to 0.5 m across. Main stem 10 mm in diameter. Leaves erect, 35-90 mm long, 25-30 mm wide, hairless, dissected, with 12-17 tips with fine points; stalk 5-50 mm long. Flowerhead 45-55 mm long, 25-35 mm across, lax, 1-3 per branch, comprising 6-12 headlets of 2-7 flowers each; flowerhead stalk 80-140 mm long. Involucral and floral bracts strongly keeled, ovate, pink, 8-10 mm long. Perianth pink with dark, rounded tips, hairless. Style straight, 9 mm long. Pollen presenter 1.5 mm long, conical.
