Characteristics

A low, erect shrub 0.3 m tall, 0.3 m across. Main stem 7 mm in diameter. Leaves curved upwards, 20-45 mm long, 10-20 mm wide, hairless, dissected, with 11-19 tips with sharp, fine points; stalk 10 mm long. Flowerhead flat-topped, 5-15 mm long, 22-28 mm across, lax, comprising 1-3 headlets totalling 20-22 flowers, with a sweet scent; flowerhead stalk 2-6 mm long, hairless. Involucral bracts absent. Floral bracts 10 mm long, grooved. Perianth pink, with erect white hairs. Style curved, 6-7 mm long. Pollen presenter 1 mm long, club-shaped. Flowers: July to November.
