Characteristics

An erect shrub 0.3-0.5 m tall, 0.3 m across. Main stem 10 mm in diameter. Leaves curved upwards, 20-40 mm long, 10-15 mm wide, with silky hairs, dissected, with 16-18 tips; stalk 8-20 mm long. Flowerhead globose, 20-25 mm across, comprising a solitary headlet of 18-22 flowers, with a sweet scent; stalkless. Involucral bracts lanceolate. Perianth yellow, base hairless, tip with spreading, white, shaggy hairs. Style straight, 10-11 mm long, hairless. Pollen presenter 1 mm long, club-shaped.
