Racemes 3–9-flowered, glabrous or with a few hairs when very young; rhachis somewhat aculeate, up to 9 cm. long, including a peduncle of up to 4.5 cm.; pedicels up to 18 mm. long in fruit.. Calyx glabrous, except for the margin; receptacle 1.5 mm. long; calyx-tube 3.5 mm. long; teeth triangular, acute, 1.8 mm. long.. Blade of standard 1.8 cm. long and wide; appendages with free tips ±0.8 mm. wide and 4–5 mm. long; claw 5 mm. long; blade of wing ±19 mm. long and 5 mm. wide, hooked at the base; claw 5 mm. long; blade of keel ± 10 mm. long, 4 mm. wide at the base, 7 mm. near the apex; basal tooth produced into a slender tip ± 2 mm. long and at 30°–70° to the 10 mm. long claw..
