Characteristics

Erect to spreading multi-stemmed shrub to 2 m high. Leaves with petiole 0.5–1.2 mm long; lamina linear, 12–40 mm long, 1–1.4 mm wide, l: w ratio 20–40: 1; margins recurved to midrib; apex obtuse to rounded or acute. Inflorescences racemose; primary axis 3–10 mm long, glabrous. Male flowers: pedicels 6–9 mm long, glabrous; calyx lobes oblong, 0.8–1.1 mm long, prominently keeled; petals broadly obovate, 1.4–1.6 mm long; receptacle ± flat or slightly convex, 0.8–1 mm across, minutely hairy; stamens c. 10; filaments 0.7–0.8 mm long. Female flowers: pedicels 12–17 mm long, glabrous; calyx lobes oblong, c. 1.2 mm long, prominently keeled; petals suborbicular, c. 1.2 mm long. Fruit broadly ellipsoid, 5–5.2 mm long, 5.2–5.4 mm across.
